Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who was recently in Kolkata, visited West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's residence on Saturday. In a recent video that has been circulating on the internet, Mamata Banerjee was seen stepping out of her house and greeting Salman.  The Chief Minister then welcomed him by putting a shawl around his neck. 

As the crowd and media members kept chanting ‘bhaijaan,’  both of them waved at the camera. Salman is in the city for his Da-Bangg Tour and he performed live at East Bengal Club on Saturday.

The actor also took to his Instagram handle and dropped an adorable video with his niece Ayat Sharma. Ayat is Salman’s sister Arpita Khan and actor Aayush Sharma’s daughter. In the video, Ayat was seen following Salman and his actions. The actor was also seen dancing for a bit towards the end. Salman wrote in the caption, “Following Mamu’s footsteps…” Fans on the internet loved the video and called it cute. One of the fans said, “Aayat ke Mamu hamari jaan hai.”

Videos from Salman’s live performance have surfaced online and the actor was seen dancing on various dance numbers ranging from Munni Badnaam Hui to Jeene Ke Hain Chaar Din. “The energy was really good on stage. It was fantastic. Thank you Kolkata,” said Salman. 

On the work front, Salman was recently seen in the film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. He is now looking forward to the release of the actioner Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
